HUNTERSVILLE, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — A Huntersville man who was allegedly found with “destructive devices” has been sentenced to more than six years in prison, according to the United States Attorney’s Office.
In December 2024, law enforcement arrested 44-year-old Justin Lloyd Coleman after an investigation into domestic violence earlier that year.
Following the arrest, police used a search warrant on his residence, where they found a short-barreled rifle with a high-capacity magazine, machine guns, firearm components, ammunition, five “destruction devices” (improvised grenades), and components to build destructive devices.
