MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) – An 18-year-old is behind bars and accused of acting as the getaway driver in an attempted armed robbery-turned-shooting in Memphis’ Frayser area late Friday night.
Amari Muhammad is facing two felony charges: acting as an accessory after an especially aggravated robbery attempt and tampering with/fabricating evidence.
The shooting at Greenbriar Apartments off Dellwood Avenue left one man fighting for his life at the hospital. One of his shooters was also injured when he fired back in self-defense.
Shelby County Jail records show Muhammad was booked Wednesday. He is scheduled to appear in court Thursday morning. No bond information is available for now…
