Franklin Fry walks through the backstage hallways of the Redhouse as if he’s been there for decades. He knows every piece of community art, every electrical outlet and every staff member, each of whom he’s eager to introduce.
Fry, who became executive director of the Redhouse Arts Center in May 2023, recently announced his retirement. He’s leaving sooner than he originally planned but he needs the time to focus on his health and take care of his family.
