Arkansas Department of Agriculture warns of increasing wildfire risk

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KAIT) – The Arkansas Department of Agriculture is urging residents to stay alert as wildfire risk increases across the state.

As of Wednesday, Aug. 12, all 75 Arkansas counties are considered at moderate risk of wildfire, and 30 counties are under burn bans. In Northeast Arkansas, burn bans are in effect in the following counties:

  • Cleburne
  • Fulton
  • Stone
  • Woodruff
