20-year-old mother identified as woman killed in South Omaha crash

OMAHA, Neb. — The woman killed in a fiery crash in South Omaha early Monday has been identified by her fiancé as Marina Gonzalez, a 20-year-old Omaha mother.

Omaha police said Gonzalez was driving east on Interstate 80 shortly after 4 a.m. when her vehicle veered left and struck a bridge support near 32nd Street.

When officers arrived, the car was in flames. Police said Gonzalez was partially ejected from the vehicle and died in the crash…
