PlayStation Theft During At-Home Sale

(Omaha, NE) — A man is accused of stealing a video game console during a sale at a home.

The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office says the victim was selling a PlayStation 5 gaming console and accessories through an online peer-to-peer marketplace. The suspect contacted the seller purportedly to ‘purchase’ the console. After taking possession of the console at the victim’s home near North 149th and Bauman last Thursday afternoon, he returned to his vehicle and pushed the victim away while saying “You don’t want to get shot,” before driving away.

Investigators identified the suspect as 22-yr-old Chin’del JONES-HILL. He was taken into custody Sunday, August 9, driving the same distinct vehicle he used during the robbery…
