JEFFERSON COUNTY, Colo. (KKTV) – Animal Control officers in Jefferson County were called to rescue a dog that was locked inside a van unattended for a few hours in the heat without any visible airflow.
Jefferson County deputies said the officers were called to the Ridge Recreation Center after witnesses reported a dog was locked in a silver van.
Deputies said the dog was locked unattended for nearly four hours while outside temperatures were in the 80s. The windows were closed, the doors were locked and there was no visible airflow…
