Flood advisories, severe thunderstorm warnings issued for Las Vegas, surrounding areas

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Severe weather and flooding have affected thousands of Clark County residents and flyers at Harry Reid Airport.

Nevada Energy has reported that more than 3,600 Clark County residents are experiencing power outages. This number could potentially grow as the National Weather Service issued a flood advisory for areas in the southeast and east valley, in effect until 4:30 p.m.
