Extra-wide RVs parked on city streets are a common sight in Seattle’s residential neighborhoods, but that could change in July 2027 as part of a suite of rule changes being considered by the Seattle City Council.
Among the proposed changes is a measure that would ban RVs more than 6 foot 8 inches wide on residential streets. The proposal would not affect narrower vehicles, such as camper vans.
