A golf cart driver hit his head on the pavement after a rollover crash Wednesday afternoon in The Villages.
The golf cart was westbound on Odell Circle approaching the multi-modal path intersection at Morse Boulevard in the Village of Mallory Square when the driver began to make a right turn, according to the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office. The driver realized that was not the direction he wished to go. He made a sudden attempt to turn left, prompting the golf cart to tip over onto its passenger side.
