Shelter-in-place orders lifted on two Vail schools

TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) – The Pima County Sheriff’s Department said a shelter-in-place has been lifted at Cienega High and Old Vail Middle schools Thursday, Aug. 13.

The Vail Unified School District said the PCSD requested the order after a report about someone in the area with a weapon.

At 1 p.m., the PCSD said that the subject was detained, and there was no threat to the community…
