The Greene County School Board approved a $52.86 million budget Wednesday night that includes a 4% pay raise for employees, even as members aired a public disagreement over how the board handles staff approvals.
The budget vote carries immediate consequences for school employees. Superintendent Andrea Whitmarsh, EdD, said staff will receive contract addendums in the coming weeks reflecting the additional 1% increase above the 3% already budgeted.
