Hamilton County school board raises Chattanooga Prep charter cap to 575 despite concerns

HAMILTON COUNTY, Tenn. — A divided Hamilton County School Board voted to increase Chattanooga Prep’s charter agreement enrollment cap from 500 students to 575, a move the school’s CEO says was necessary as more students return this year.

Chattanooga Prep CEO Troy Kemp says the additional seats represent opportunities.
