COLUMBIA, S.C. — The City of Columbia Planning Commission unanimously approved plans Thursday for a 300-unit apartment complex on Lake Murray Boulevard.
The proposed Maddison Apartments will be built on about 25 acres between a Columbia fire station and several church properties.
According to city documents, the development will include one- and two-bedroom apartments in 12 buildings. The primary entrance will be on Lake Murray Boulevard, while a second entrance will connect to Club Road, which feeds into Parkridge Drive on the other side of the property…
