Huntsville leaders eye Northwoods redevelopment as part of University Drive study

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WAFF) – City leaders are looking at ways to transform Northwoods, Huntsville’s largest public housing development, as part of a broader study of the University Drive corridor.

The study will examine housing, retail and office space, affordable housing and improved connections for walking, biking and public transit. The plan is still years away from implementation.
