EUGENE, Ore. — The Eugene Family YMCA closed all of its programs and facilities Friday after comments made by a former employee raised concerns about the safety of the community, according to a message sent to families.
YMCA officials said they became aware Thursday, Aug. 13, of comments made by the staff member and decided to terminate the person’s employment.
