A homicide investigation was underway Friday after a wrecked car was found at the scene of a fatal shooting in Los Angeles County.
Los Angeles County deputies responded to the 14000 block of South Stanford Avenue in Compton shortly before 10 p.m. Thursday after receiving reports of a shooting.
The victim, who has not been identified, was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
