A tense standoff in a residential neighborhood of Hancock Park came to an end on Sunday after hours of negotiation.
Officers were called to a home near the intersection of Beverly Boulevard and Lucerne Boulevard at about 8 a.m. for a call of a man who barricaded himself inside. As a result, the immediate area was shut down while officers worked to convince the man to exit.
