Augusta street named after woman who lived to be 100

AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) – A local street has been dedicated in honor of Augusta resident Mattie Mae Ellison, celebrating her lasting legacy and impact on the community.

Ellison lived to be 100 years old and was a member of Jordan Grove Baptist Church for 85 years.
