The cookers are being turned on at a new chicken spot in the suburb.
The Chicken Coupe has plans for Highland Park as their latest location is coming to 13324 Woodward Avenue. This follows their recent opening in Belle Isle last year. Owner Weesam Ali told What Now Detroit the team is hoping to open around Sept. 1.
The chicken concept was established in 2011 and now operates in Belle Isle, Dearborn and Southgate. While the menu is centered around chicken and waffles, the chain also sells a loaded hashbrown bowls topped with cheese. Their mac and cheese filled with fried chicken is a popular option as well…
