Grace Baptist Church (formerly Central Baptist Church) of Oak Ridge will again offer an in-person GriefShare support group, beginning Wednesday, Aug. 19. The meetings will be held each Wednesday from 6-7:30 p.m. for 13 weeks at Grace Baptist Church, 130 Providence Road.
GriefShare is a network of 12,000 churches worldwide equipped to offer grief support groups. It is non-denominational and features Biblical concepts for healing from the loss of your loved one, whether it be a spouse, child, parent, or other family member or loved one, according to a news release.
There are three key components to the program: a video seminar featuring leading grief recovery experts, your support group, where there is discussion about the weekly video content and you can share your story if so desired, and a workbook that reinforces the weekly session topics…
