Two Florida children are facing felony charges for allegedly riding electric bikes through a Target store last month, leaving a “trail of destruction” and “terrorized” shoppers in their wake.
The Collier County Sheriff’s Office said that on July 9, a group of juveniles riding “e-motos,” a type of electric motocross bike, arrived at the Target store on Tarpon Bay Boulevard in Naples. They allegedly rode the store’s mobility scooters, designed for disabled shoppers, throughout the store.
“They crashed into fixtures, disrupted shoppers, played explicit music, and made profane comments, leaving some shoppers feeling terrorized,” the sheriff’s office said…
