TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – Fans are in demand at Elder Care Services in Tallahassee as temperatures approach triple digits.
Meals on Wheels volunteers loaded up fans Friday and delivered them to seniors along their meal routes.
“It’s like a sauna and so there are several people that we can think of right away that are going to be so happy to see these fans today,” said volunteer Penny Taylor as she loaded a fan into her SUV.
