SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — A Springfield-based nonprofit goes all over the U.S. and the world, helping people after disaster strikes.
When asked what Convoy of Hope does for its neighbors, the answer is extensive.
“Just locally within the Springfield area, we’ve been able to help more than 165 local organizations,” said Ethan Forhetz, the National Spokesperson and VP of Public Engagement at Convoy. “Those are food banks, food pantries, and we deliver supplies to them from this warehouse that’s full of supplies. We’ve been able to serve almost 300,000 people with more than $11.6 million worth of supplies, just within an hour of Springfield already this year.”…
