DENVER (KDVR) — A Lakewood man is in custody in connection with his wife’s death on Thursday morning, police said.
According to the Lakewood Police Department, officers were sent around 6 a.m. Thursday to the 1700 block of South Welch Road on reports that a woman was unresponsive inside.
Arrest made in random shooting on I-225 in Aurora
Officials arrived and found the woman and pronounced her dead at the scene. According to the release, the woman was identified as 37-year-old Lindsey Barnett.
