‘Germ factory’: ASD’s back-to-school health guide for Anchorage families

ANCHORAGE, Alaska (KTUU) – The Anchorage School District is reminding families of clear guidelines for when a sick child should stay home as the new school year begins.

“My big thing is wanting our children in our community to be successful members of society. Keeping them healthy is a very important part of that,” said Kathy Bell, the district’s Health Care Services director.
