(FOX40.COM) — A man was shot Friday afternoon in the Rio Linda area of Sacramento County, officials said.
Just after 4 p.m., the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office received a call reporting a man was shot in the 1300 block of C Street. Upon arrival, deputies found the man who suffered at least one gunshot wound. He was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment and is in stable condition, the sheriff’s office said.
The man’s identity, potential suspects and the circumstances leading up to the shooting have not been released to the public at this time. The investigation remains ongoing…
