By Sara Beth Williams– — The Citrus Heights City Council is scheduled to hold a special council meeting this upcoming week involving an appeal hearing regarding an Order of Abatement issued for a large corner property at 7398 Antelope Rd.
The agenda packet includes only a brief title of the hearing, stating: “Appeal of Notice of Hearing Decision & Order of Abatement for 7398 Antelope Road.” No further information is included in the city’s agenda packet, however, such a hearing before the City Council generally means the party who is appealing is asking the council to review a previous order to abate.
The corner lot, located on Antelope Road near Lauppe Lane, has long been known to store numerous vehicles visible to passersby, based on both Google aerial photos and Sentinel staff observation.
