ANNA MARIA ISLAND, Fla. (WFLA) — More than 50 baby sea turtles, just hours old, never made it to the Gulf. Instead, artificial light led them straight into danger.
“It’s just horrible because they do so much here to try to keep the turtles safe,” said resident, Joe Sellitto. “It’s a shame, it’s sad.”
