MANATEE COUNTY, Fla. (WWSB) – The former treasurer of the North Manatee Soccer Club has been charged with scheme to defraud $50,000 or more after investigators alleged she routed club money through a sub-account and used it for personal expenses.
Nancy Kelly Fetzner, 52, was arrested on an active warrant, according to a Friday news release from the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office. Court records identify the charge as scheme to defraud $50,000 or more under Florida law.
The investigation began after the sheriff’s office was notified June 29 of suspected financial fraud involving the club, the release said.
