Ongpin Restaurant, a beloved Filipino restaurant in South San Francisco, is closing its doors Sunday, according to manager Ludy Noguera.
Noguera, who has run the restaurant for 32 years, said she chose to close it after the city of South San Francisco decided to expand its fire department into the lot the restaurant occupies, which she said is owned by the city.
