STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — A fire reported at a property in Eltingville prompted an emergency response of 21 fire department units late Friday night.
Seventy-nine firefighters and EMS personnel helped to battle a blaze at 166 Scranton Ave., between Pompey Ave. and Lovelace Ave., according to a spokesperson for the fire department.
