NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — Officers with the New Orleans Police Department are investigating the death of a teenage boy in the Central Business District in the early hours of Aug. 15.
A little after midnight, the 17-year-old victim and his friends entered a building located in the 1000 block of Howard Avenue and went up to a higher floor.
Police said the group reportedly were drinking alcohol and when they tried to go down the stairs, the boy fell.
