A free, family-friendly beer garden is setting up along the Cumberland River in East Nashville this fall, with six Friday evenings of draft beer, food trucks, music and games planned at Shelby Park. The pop-up series, called Fridays by the River, runs from 3 to 8 p.m. on September 11, 18 and 25, and October 2, 9 and 16, 2026.
The event benefits Friends of Shelby Park and Bottoms, according to WZTV, with proceeds from food and drink sales going directly back into supporting the park.
