MT. JULIET, Tenn. (WKRN) — A reckless driver was stopped in Wilson County Friday night after fleeing Metro Nashville police.
According to the Mt. Juliet Police Department, their officers were alerted by the Metro Nashville Police Department of a vehicle pursuit headed toward Mt. Juliet at around 12:41 a.m. on I-40.
Mt. Juliet authorities said the driver was spotted driving recklessly by Nashville police, who attempted to stop him in Davidson County. Instead of stopping, authorities said the driver fled from officers at extremely high speeds and with no headlights.

Mt. Juliet officers then attempted to stop the driver, but he continued to flee from their officers as well.
