HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – The Honolulu Police Department contraflowed Komo Mai Drive Saturday night due to downed power lines as Hurricane Lala nears Oahu.
Police initially reported a full closure at 1840 Komo Mai Drive, temporarily blocking vehicle access in and out of the Pacific Palisades neighborhood.
The public is advised to avoid the area. Crews are working to address the hazard and reopen the road when it is safe to do so…
