DES MOINES, Iowa — Some fairgoers rushed to the fair tent an hour and a half early to wait in line for a free pork chop on a stick Sunday. The Iowa Pork Producers gave out 1,776 pork chops on a stick on Sunday during their 1776 Pork Chop Salute.
