Fire reported at popular family friendly restaurant in Houston

One of Houston’s most popular and family friendly restaurants is at the center of an emergency response Sunday. The original of the seven Mia’s Table restaurants in the greater Houston area, located in Upper Kirby, reportedly caught fire Sunday morning.

The Houston Fire Department (HFD) responded to a call at around 11 a.m. Sunday from the Upper Kirby location of Mia’s Table, one of Houston’s favorite family friendly restaurants. The news was first reported by KPRC 2’s Christian Hudspeth.

Meanwhile, a TikTok video from user @jackeline_idalmy on Sunday shows, from a nearby location, smoke emanating from Mia’s table. The location at 3131 Argonne St. is part of the larger “corporate campus” for the restaurant’s owners, Johnny Carrabba Family of Restaurants (JCFR)…
