LOGAN SQUARE — Sixteen teenagers are facing criminal trespass charges after they were arrested at the Congress Theater Friday night, one week after a rave thrown in the abandoned venue went viral.
Police responded to a trespassing call about 8:15 p.m. Friday in the theater, 2135 N. Milwaukee Ave., and entered the building to find several teenagers attempting to flee the venue, a Chicago police spokesperson said. Officers arrested 16 people between the ages of 13-19, charging each suspect with one misdemeanor count of criminal trespass.
