Fox Valley tornado recovery: Three weeks later

MENASHA, Wis. (WBAY) — Three weeks after an EF3 tornado struck Wisconsin’s Fox Valley on July 27, recovery operations remain active across the region. The tornado caused heavy damage in multiple communities, including Menasha and Fox Crossing.

Menasha debris removal and restrictions

Menasha’s mayor provided updates on current recovery operations Monday, saying debris removal will continue through the week. A citywide curfew and burn ban remain in place. Officials said a public notice will be issued when both are lifted.

Menasha Common Council to review recovery framework

In a step toward long-term recovery, Menasha’s Common Council is scheduled to review a draft framework Monday evening.

The proposal focuses on neighborhood reinvestment, helping residents rebuild their homes, and repairing utilities and roads.
