NARRAGANSETT, R.I. (WJAR) — A day at the beach turned into a desperate wildlife rescue in Rhode Island when a marine mammal became stranded in shallow water — and one beachgoer decided not to stand by and watch.
Video captured the moment Stephen Melidossian grabbed the animal by its tail and helped guide it toward deeper water as a crowd gathered along the beach.
