MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) – The Monona Police Department has arrested a previously at-large suspect who led the department on a high-speed chase, officials said Monday.
Monona Police Department said they received a call around 4:40 p.m. Saturday night for a report of people allegedly doing drugs inside a parked car in a parking lot on the 3900 block of Monona Drive.
When officers arrived at the parking lot, they said the driver of the car backed out of a parking spot and took off, hitting a parked car before leaving the lot.
Responding officers tried to stop the driver, but the suspect led police on a high-speed chase through Monona Drive and E. Dean Avenue. Throughout the chase, the officers identified a partial license plate number for the car…
