Caterpillar North Little Rock investing an additional $3 million for Arkansas jobs

NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Caterpillar Inc. officials in North Little Rock said on Monday that the company was investing $3 million in its facility to boost Arkansas job growth.

Officials said the move is part of its company-wide $100 million Building the Future Workforce Initiative. The $3 million in North Little Rock is to prepare Arkansas workers for jobs in modern manufacturing and technical roles, they added.

Caterpillar currently employs 530 people in Arkansas and does business with 60 suppliers statewide, officials said…
