SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (Edited News Release/KY3) -The GLO Center in Springfield announced that its building is closed until further notice due to a collapsed sewer main.
On Aug. 12, leaders at the center said on Facebook that the center on E. Commercial Street would be temporarily closed due to plumbing issues, hoping for repairs to be made over the weekend. Unfortunately, crews found that the problem was a lot more extensive.
Leaders said the sewer main has collapsed several feet beneath the foundation of the center, and the repair team is currently reassessing the situation and determining the next steps…
