CLEVELAND (WJW) — The Asian Lantern Festival at Cleveland Metroparks Zoo has been extended through Sept. 12 and something special is planned for the grand finale.
The festival will continue Thursdays through Sundays from 6:30 to 10:30 p.m. through Saturday, Sept. 12.

For the first time, the festival will end with a drone show. Hundreds of synchronized drones will take to the sky, creating choreographed animations and illuminated storytelling above the zoo, according to a press release.
