ESCAMBIA COUNTY, Fla. — The former Escambia County deputy charged in the double-fatal Perdido Key crash in 2025 had civil suits against him dropped.
In November, 58-year-old Greg Nesmith was charged with two counts of vehicular homicide. While off-duty, he fatally hit two Alabama teenagers who were crossing Perdido Key Drive in July.
