EL CAJON, Calif. (FOX5/KUSI) — A man accused of killing an El Cajon dentist and wounding two others in a 2024 shooting was back in court Monday as a judge considered whether he is competent to continue representing himself.

Mohammed Abdulkareem is accused of opening fire inside Smile Plus Dentistry in El Cajon in February 2024, killing a dentist and injuring two other people.
