Green Bay woman arrested for 1st OWI after crashing into a ditch

SCOTT, Wis. (WFRV) – Authorities say a Green Bay woman was arrested Monday evening for her first OWI offense after she crashed her vehicle into a ditch.

According to a release from the Wisconsin State Patrol, Wrightstown Post, a trooper responded at 5:52 p.m. to State Highway 57 near Van Laanen Road in the Town of Scott for reports of a crash.

Officials say a vehicle, driven by a 21-year-old woman from Green Bay, left the roadway and entered a ditch before crashing into two parked cars. Upon making contact with the driver, the trooper reported an odor of intoxicants and witnessed other indications of impairment.
