Jacksonville Man Arrested on 14 Child Pornography-Related Counts

A 43-year-old Jacksonville man has been arrested on 14 counts involving the alleged possession of child sexual abuse material, according to Arkansas Attorney General Tim Griffin.

Agents with the Attorney General’s Special Investigations Division arrested Micheal Heird on 14 counts of pandering or possession of visual or print medium depicting sexually explicit conduct involving a child.

According to Griffin’s office, agents executed a search warrant at a residence on Aug. 12 after receiving a cybertip from Google.

Investigators allege that a device found in Heird’s possession contained multiple images identified as Child Sexual Abuse Material, commonly known as CSAM. Agents also seized multiple electronic devices for additional examination…
