CLEVELAND (WJW) — The Fox 8 I-Team has found that a local judge has refused to throw out charges against Gregory Moore, a former divorce attorney, now facing murder charges.
Moore is accused of killing his former client Aliza Sherman in 2013. A grand jury indicted Moore on May 2, 2025. He has entered not guilty pleas to all the charges.

On Friday, Cuyahoga County Common Pleas Judge Kira Krivosh denied a motion filed by defense attorneys to have the case dismissed. The defense attorneys argued in part that since it took so long to file the charges, the case should be dismissed.

But in the new ruling, the judge stated the case is “not a reindictment” and “there is no presumptively prejudicial delay.”
